For running I hear pple say victo's axe is better than the victo's war blade.

But people prefer a sword over an axe for tanking in general.

My question is, if I bought a victo's war blade would it be sufficient to run with even though it has -1 hp degen?

Run? As in running?

For runs, you probably want a +5e Sword or Axe, now that those are easily obtained.

If you're actually fighting, a 3/1 vampiric mod actually gives you a small amount of healing over time assuming you always hit. But even if you're missing frequently, -2hp/sec is still negligible and easily healed.

And Sundering sucks.

Well i use totem axe and exalted aegis but seriously it wont make that much of a difference, unless ur running build is unique then u will want to find some items that would best suit it

If your talking about running in most cases your best with a stance shield. As far as weps certainly a strength required weapon and really nothing that is degen be it energy or hp's.

+ Energy is a nice choice.

If your talking about running ("playing") a pve warrior then weapon choice is really just finding something that is available or choosing one that suits your playstyle/preference of skill's. For me personally I have axes x 3, Hammer x 2, sword x 1.
Axe is my main pve builds. Hammer for when I'm with a couple more warriors, pvp or farming bosses and sword when I run a build that uses the skill reposte or deadly reposte.

I also use different armours - Gladiators, Sentinels and recently Legionairs. I have a different helm for different weapons and use a strength helm for swords and running.

Totem Axe is a nice weapon, and are reasonable cheap to buy [ at least the two ive brought where ] dearest one was 7k.

# Slashing damage: 6-28 (Requires 9 Axe Mastery)

Totem Axe is ok, but Victo's Axe > Totem Axe every time.

Warriors don't need +20% enchantment or even the extra 5 energy (wear glads armor if you really want extra energy). Victo's +30hp Always is far better for tanks. Take a look at Victo's shield too, that also has +30hp Always.

If you're talking running as in droknar runs, then if you can't manage your runs with just 20 mana you need to go practice more. Also, go get Lietenant's (sp) Helm from Prophecies. It's only +60armor, but lowers the duration of hexes cast on you, very useful when you're running.
